Jacques N. Biot, founder
and CEO of JNB-D, is a graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique
in Paris, France, and a member of the prestigious "Corps
des Mines". He is a former senior government official within
the French administration and an ex-pharmaceutical industry
executive.
During his
years in public office as a senior policy advisor, Jacques’s
efforts were initially focused on issues related to development
and restructuring in industry; he then went on to serve as
the key policy advisor for industry and technology in the
Prime Minister's office.
Following his experience within public
administration, Jacques garnered seven years of senior healthcare
industry experience in two international French pharmaceutical
companies. He served first as Head of the Chairman's Office
at Roussel Uclaf (now part of Sanofi Aventis group) and then
went on to Pasteur Mérieux Serums & Vaccines (now
Sanofi Pasteur) as VP, Immunology. During these years in industry
he solidified his understanding of biopharmaceutical issues
and sharpened his skills in leading various business activities
such as drug and biological development, business development
and post merger restructuring.
In 1992, Jacques founded JNB-D and
over the years built the company through his expertise in
strategy and political savvy in public affairs. Today, Jacques
is widely viewed as a leading expert on healthcare in Europe;
he is author of numerous reports on the wide range of facets
of the French and European healthcaresystems, speaker in numerous
symposiums and seminaries, and advisor to several leading
industry associations. In addition, Jacques is dedicated to
cultivating customer relationships and focused on driving
JNB-D’s future growth.
